Thus, many have inferred that the company is going through some degree of financial crisis. In particular, the company has been under a hiring freeze and has been refusing to pay vendors for work they have already completed. Employees are burned out due to poor decisions from upper leadership that leave programs unequipped to be fully staffed or ready for unforeseen circumstances such as resignations, illness, etc. Under the new direction of Cecelia Hunt (new divisional VP), the company has turned to cutting corners, micromanaging finances, and ignoring cries for help from burned out employees. Walking away is a job well done in and of itself.Ĭenter for Discovery was once a progressive, patient and employee satisfaction focused division of Discovery Behavioral Health. The clients deserve a place that could better care for them. I felt it was in my best interest to walk away from this place with my dignity. HR is just as unprofessional with a horrible attitude and only invested in the company and not the employees. They lack integrity, professionalism and morale. I would not recommend my worst enemy work here. I never had client issues arise on my shift. The best part of the job was working with the clients, because they always gave me positive feedback. They act very childish and insecure when they see you excel at the job. Most of the staff are middle-aged and older.

They gossip all the time about clients in the staff office. They are blatantly disrespectful, especially if you are not a pushover. They liked it when I would cover some shifts to benefit their business, but that is as far as it goes. They did not even acknowledge me with a space on their employee wall. They hired me as a temporary employee but were not considerate of my time and effort.
